Encrypt Identity Document Fields
You can now encrypt fields on the documents you use to identify
Financial Services Cloud clients. When you encrypt the Issue
Date,
Expiration Date, and
Document Number fields, you add another layer of protection to the data your
clients entrust to your care.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
Who: This change applies to editions that have both Financial Services Cloud and Shield Platform Encryption enabled.
How: On the Encryption Policy page in Setup, click Encrypt Fields. Then click Edit and select a field. You can apply the deterministic encryption scheme to the Document Number field.
