Email Tracking Location Information Removed from the Outlook Integration with Inbox
When using email tracking, information about where an email is opened
is no longer available as of August 2020.
Where: This change applies to Salesforce Inbox, available for an extra cost in Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions, and at no cost in Essentials editions.
Why: To comply with data protection and privacy regulations such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, this information is no longer gathered when using email tracking.
