Enable Multiple Currencies

Set up the ability to use multiple currencies in currency fields throughout Order Management by enabling the Salesforce multiple currency feature for your organization.

Where: This change applies to Salesforce Order Management, which is available for an additional cost in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

Why: If your company conducts business in more than one country, enabling the multiple currency feature lets you manage orders using the currencies for all the countries in which you do business.

When you enable multiple currencies, your Salesforce admin sets the corporate currency, which reflects the currency of the corporate headquarters. Your admin also sets up a list of active currencies and their conversion rates relative to the corporate currency. The active currencies represent the countries in which you do business. Order Management only imports orders that use one of your active currencies.

How: To enable this feature, from Setup enter Company Information in the Quick Find box. Then select Company Information and click Edit. Enable Activate Multiple Currencies and save your changes.

Turning on multiple currencies introduces permanent changes in your organization. This feature can't be turned off. Review the Considerations for Enabling Multiple Currencies before enabling.
