Manage Content, Entitlements, Price Books, and Buyers with the Commerce App

Between promotions, sales, and constantly evolving markets, store managers have a lot on their plates. The Commerce app provides a streamlined way to configure and update stores, assure that prices are displayed correctly, and ensure that buyers access the right store.

Where: This feature is new in Lightning Experience, in Personal, Enterprise, Performance, and Developer editions.

Who: This feature is available to users with a B2B Commerce license.

Why: The Commerce App lets you quickly set up content-rich, multilingual stores. Quick links, tiles, and workspaces, allow store managers to stay in the context of the screen that they are working on while moving between multiple set-up areas. From the Commerce app, store managers can configure:
  • Products into categories, and associate them to stores via catalogs.
  • Rich media content, to enrich the buyer’s experience.
  • Stores with multiple languages, including translations on products and categories.
  • Price book associations, whether with products or buyer groups.
  • They can also determine, whether standard or negotiated prices are offered in a store.
  • Buyer’s access to a store and the products and prices that they are entitled to.
