How and When Do Features Become Available?
Some features in Spring ’21 affect all users immediately after the release goes live. Consider communicating these changes to your users beforehand so that they’re prepared. Other features require direct action by an administrator before users can benefit from the new functionality. -
Supported Browsers
We made some changes to our supported browsers documentation that make it easier to find what you need. Supported browsers for Salesforce vary depending on whether you use Salesforce Classic or Lightning Experience. -
Salesforce Overall
Language throughout our product was updated to reflect inclusivity. Salesforce Release Notes moved to Salesforce Help for a more unified user experience. Recently Viewed lists have customizable actions. You can add images to your in-app guidance, and snooze guidance so you can see it later. Use new survey actions in a flow and target specific survey participants with invitation rules. Use the new Lightning Scheduler trial org to get a head start on your implementation, and set default time zones for appointment slots. Search using everyday words with natural language search for Government Cloud and the Salesforce mobile app. -

Prepare your business, employees, and facilities. Respond to major events, such as the current COVID-19 crisis, with the apps and services in Work.com. -

Get excited for a smarter Service Cloud. Dive into your Einstein Article Recommendation model in a new scorecard, and deliver data from standard and custom objects in Einstein Bots. Field Service streamlines the scheduling experience with point-to-point predictive routing, appointment matching for shifts, and alerts when your mobile worker arrives. With setup enhancements and new productivity tools in Service Setup Assistant, Service Cloud Voice, and Knowledge, you get more time to focus on your customers. -

Salesforce Meetings helps sales teams prepare for meetings and engage attendees. High Velocity Sales users can use Call Coaching with video calls, track the opportunities and revenue that result from sales cadences, and retire sales cadences without losing the data. Adjust forecasts on the go with the Salesforce mobile app. Track when emails are temporarily undeliverable, and test and share email templates. -

Salesforce CPQ improvements include smoother amendment and renewal service upgrades, background contract amendments, and a change ensuring correct price rule configuration. With Salesforce Billing, configure how invoice lines are created when you use a bill through date override, and map financial information to customer accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. You can also highlight the long-term value of a lifecycle-managed asset. Standalone order activation and product creation logic are improved. And Advanced Approvals users can manage their approvals without logging in to Salesforce. -

The Build Your Own (LWR) template is now generally available and includes support for Salesforce CMS content. And we added enhancements to several Lightning components. -
