View and Revoke Devices with Device Management (Beta)

You can now track and monitor which devices are accessing your Salesforce org with Device Management, giving you greater control over the security of your data. Using an API or Apex call, you can revoke access and the associated refresh tokens from lost and stolen devices. You can also build processes and policies to define how devices access your org, such as requiring an approval request from the device before authorizing a login. In addition, create custom reports to see Device Management statistics, such as the types of devices accessing your org.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience, Salesforce Classic, and all versions of the Salesforce app in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.


As a beta feature, Device Management is a preview and isn’t part of the “Services” under your master subscription agreement with Salesforce. Use this feature at your sole discretion, and make your purchase decisions only on the basis of generally available products and features. Who: To view devices that access Salesforce, you must have the View Devices permission. To revoke device access, you must have the Manage Devices permission.
