Update Partner Account Fields on Opportunities and Leads
Let’s say that you are the channel manager of a partner account with regional divisions. You’ve created an opportunity from the partner account, but now one of your divisions is taking the lead in driving the opportunity. Now you can update the partner account field on opportunity or leads to more accurately track who is driving them forward.
Where: This change applies to Lightning communities accessed through Lightning Experience and Salesforce in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
