Delete Push Registrations for Mobile Devices

Admins can now ensure that push notifications aren’t being sent to users whose refresh tokens have been revoked. Deleting push registrations for mobile devices gives you more control over who receives Salesforce data from your org.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience, Salesforce Classic, and all versions of the mobile app in all Editions.

How: After revoking a refresh token for a user, delete push registrations for each user as well. In the record detail page for the user, go to Mobile Push Registrations and View all devices.

Delete each registered device for the application the token was revoked for to ensure that push notifications are no longer sent to the user.

Make sure the Application name under OAuth Connected Apps and App Name under Mobile Push Registrations are the same, so you revoke access to the same application. The names may look slightly different because of formatting.
