Data Protection and Privacy: More Granularity for Consent
Track data privacy preferences at a granular level using new objects and fields. New
metadata fields help you classify customers’ sensitive data.
Fine-Tune Your Data Privacy Tracking with New Objects
Track data privacy preferences in more a granular way using new objects: Contact Point Type Consent, Data Use Purpose, and Data Use Legal Basis. For example, you can indicate that a customer allows contact via email but not through phone calls and mail. You can also set up categories to specify the purpose for which contact is legitimate, such as billing. And you can specify the legal basis for contacting someone against their wishes.
Add Demographic Information to Your Data Privacy Records
Data privacy records based on the Individual object now include fields that store demographic information, such as occupation, home ownership, and military service. You can access these fields when you configure the page layout for your data privacy records.
Report On Field History for Data Privacy Records
Now you can collect field history for data privacy records based on the Individual object with the new individual history report. This standard report type is available in organizations with Data Protection and Privacy enabled.
