Create Service Appointments for Leads

There’s a new service appointment parent (record) in town. When your team needs to schedule a site visit to pursue a promising lead, track the visit in Salesforce by creating a child service appointment for the lead.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

How: The Parent Record field on service appointments now includes the option to select a lead—no admin setup required. Manage a lead’s appointments in the Service Appointments related list.

Only service appointments whose parents are work orders or work order line items are included in schedule optimization.
