Health Cloud Supports Russian, Italian, and Danish Languages

We’ve added Danish (DA), Russian (RU), and Italian (IT) to the locales we support.
If you set up Health Cloud before the Spring ’18 release, you’ll need to update your display to use the new languages. In Setup, use the Quick Find box to find Object, then click Create | Objects. On the Custom Objects page, click Patient Card Configuration. Under Custom Fields & Relationships, click Language. Click New and fill in the name of the language you are adding.
Note

Note

This must be the exact name of the language. For example, Russian works, but russian doesn't work. For any language specification the system doesn't recognize, English is used by default.

On the Custom Objects page, go to Timeline View Configuration and repeat the steps.

To check that your new language is showing up, go back to Patient Card Configuration and look for it in the Languages dropdown.

Tip

Tip

If your company is multi-language and operates in a non-English language, enable the Translation Workbench so that translated values display correctly in Health Cloud components. Product documentation is available in all fully supported languages.

Important

Important

When Health Cloud supports a language, this doesn’t necessarily mean Salesforce has done a legal compliance evaluation for all countries in which that language is spoken. You must determine whether there are any legal or regulatory requirements that apply to using Health Cloud for each country in which you intend to use it.
