Increase Your Response Rate with Post-Chat Updates

We know that customer feedback is important to you. We also know that your customers are less likely to visit your post-chat URL if they can choose to close the chat. Remove the post-chat button, and update your Snap-in code to take customers directly to the post-chat URL when they’re done chatting.

Where: This change applies to Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions that use the Snap-in code snippet version 5.0 or later.

How: Make sure that you add a post-chat URL for your Live Agent chat button. Add the following setting to your JavaScript snippet anywhere before the embedded_svc.init call.
embedded_svc.settings.autoOpenPostChat = true;
