Sync Event Series (Generally Available)

Event series sync is generally available and ready to sync your sales reps’ new and updated event series between Salesforce and Microsoft® calendars.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and all versions of the Salesforce app in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

How: Select Sync event series in your reps’ sync configurations. New and updated event series created in Lightning Experience, the Salesforce app, or Microsoft calendars sync according to reps’ event sync directions.

To keep calendars aligned, when reps delete individual events from a series, Lightning Sync seamlessly removes those events from the other application, according to sync direction. Unlike standalone events or event series, individual events from a series are removed regardless of whether you’ve selected the Delete synced events setting in reps’ sync configurations. If you haven’t selected Delete synced events for reps, let them know that deleting individual events from a series removes it from both systems.
