Create, Brand, and Distribute a Custom Salesforce Community Mobile App

Mobile Publisher lets you customize the app name, app icon, colors, branding, and distribution to Google Play and the Apple App Store. Create engaging portals, forums, and sites from out-of-the-box templates and themes, all without a mobile developer. Design a personalized experience with CRM and artificial intelligence, and connect data with partner-built solutions.

Where: This change applies to Lightning communities accessed through Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

When: The Salesforce Mobile Publisher for Community Cloud is available after February 11, 2019.

How: First, your organization must license Salesforce Mobile Publisher in order to use the feature. After Mobile Publisher is licensed, use templates, standard or custom Lightning components, and themes to customize your Lightning community for your mobile users.

After you create and customize your community, it’s time to create a project in Mobile Publisher. The project is where you enter your organization info, upload custom branded assets and icons, choose your brand colors, and choose how to distribute your branded app to your users. Mobile Publisher guides you through the steps of assembling your app, beta testing your app, and submitting your app to Google Play or the Apple App Store for approval.
