Files: Asset Files Updates in Managed Packages and Folders in Org Asset
Make updates to asset files in managed packages and organize your org
asset library with folders.
Update Asset Files in Managed Packages
You can update and publish existing asset files in managed packages. For instance, when you improve the image quality of a logo or update product images, your subscribers get the updated asset files automatically. Managed packages offer you more control over asset files. Although you can update an asset file and its associated documents in the developer org, they can’t be modified or deleted from a subscriber org.
Organize Your Asset Library with Folders
Is your org asset library one long list of files? Now you can organize those asset files into folders by type or use, and keep special asset files for promotional events or holidays in their own folders. Create, rename, and delete folders in the org asset library from the desktop. Library folders are visible from your mobile device.
Query All Files
With the new Query All Files permission, View All Data users can query ContentDocument and ContentVersion and retrieve all files in the org, including files in non-member libraries and files in unlisted groups. On its own, the View All Data permission only allows you to query files you own or have access to.
